Murray County District Court

The Murray County court clerk office is at 1001 West Wyandotte Avenue in Sulphur. Call (580) 622-3223 for questions about records or filings. The fax number is 580-622-2979. Office hours run Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The office closes for lunch.

This office records and maintains all district court proceedings for Murray County. The clerk collects court fees, fines, and forfeitures, then distributes those funds to state and local agencies. Under Title 28, Section 152 of the Oklahoma Statutes, the clerk follows the statewide fee schedule. Copies cost $1.00 for the first page and $0.50 for each page after that. Certification runs $0.50 per document. Authentication costs $5.00.

Request Murray County Court Records

To get copies by mail, send a written request to the Murray County Court Clerk at 1001 W Wyandotte Ave, Sulphur, OK 73086. Include the case number if possible. Without one, include the names of the parties and approximate dates. The clerk charges a $5.00 search fee for every seven years searched when no case number is provided. Make checks payable to the Murray County Court Clerk.
