Criminal Court Records

Criminal cases in Harper County use the CF prefix for felonies and CM for misdemeanors on OSCN. For a formal criminal background check, the OSBI CHIRP portal charges $15 per name search. Under Oklahoma Administrative Code Section 375:9-1-2, all online criminal history requests go through CHIRP. Expungement is available under Title 22, Section 18 for people who meet the eligibility requirements. Once granted, expunged records no longer appear in public searches.

The Oklahoma Open Records Act at 51 O.S. Section 24A gives any person the right to ask for and receive copies of public records from the Harper County court clerk.
